SLIPKNOT SLIP YOU A NEW DVD
Things are pretty quiet in the Slipknot camp these days, but the band will be releasing a DVD to keep fans happy for the time being. According to Billboard, the band will begin writing their fourth album this year, but before that they?ll release a new DVD, which according to guitarist Mick Thomson will have ?a lot more personal stuff on it.? He went onto say that the release will focus more on the day to day life of the band rather than the live show. There is no release date set yet.

WILL JANE?S ADDICTION LEAD TO SMASHING PUMPKINS?
Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has been working on the revival of the Pumpkins since last summer, but the line-up has been pretty bare. Obviously Corgan is in, and he?s got drummer Jimmy Chamberlin on board, but who else wants to be a Pumpkin? Apparently Jane?s Addiction bassist Eric Avery. According to MTV News, Avery has been rehearsing with the band during the pre-production of the record, but nothing has been confirmed just yet. One time Smashing Pumpkin bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur has also expressed interest in playing with the reunited band.
