WILL WEEZER RELEASE THEIR GREATEST HITS?
Will Weezer release a Greatest Hits album this year? Well, no one is exactly sure. A press release put out by Suretone Records announced that they?d be releasing the compilation, plus some new songs, this year, but according to Weezer.com, it?s a little early to say. In a post on the band?s Website, they said that they were talking about a greatest hits record, but that the press release was sent out prematurely. They went on to say that nothing has been confirmed and they have not recorded any new songs just yet.

THE OMEN SCARES UP THE BIGGEST TUESDAY OPENING IN HISTORY
The panned remake of The Omen took in over 12-million dollars in just one day, marking the largest Tuesday opening in motion picture history. It appears that Fox smartly planned the unusual Tuesday opening to capitalize on the date ? 6/6/06 ? a sequence of numbers indicating the ?Mark of the Beast (Satan).? The Omen is based on the original 1976 classic film, which centers on young boy named ?Damien,? the son of an American diplomat and his wife. Damien?s family is unaware he is destined to become the Anti-Christ ? until shattering events reveal the terrifying truth. The film stars Julia Stiles, Liev Schreiber Mia Farrow and Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick.
