YEAH YEAH YEAHS BEGIN NEW TOUR TONIGHT
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs begin their latest U.S. tour tonight (Thursday, September 28th) in San Diego, California, according to Absolute Punk. The group continues to support its second full-length album, Show Your Bones, which was released earlier this year. A number of different acts will open for the trio on various dates, including the Eagles of Death Metal, the Blood Brothers, Ex-Models and Deerhunter.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontperson Karen O appears on the soundtrack of the movie Jackass Number Two with a song called "Backass." The movie was Number One at the box office last weekend.
The band's latest video, for the single "Cheated Hearts," features 25 clips of Yeah Yeah Yeahs fans who dressed up as the group and shot their own videos for the tune.

Foo Fighters main man Dave Grohl plays drums on the soundtrack to The Pick Of Destiny, the new film about Tenacious D, the satirical rock duo featuring actor Jack Black. The soundtrack hits stores on November 14th, three days before the movie opens in theatres. (MTV.com)
