All lanes on IH-10 and IH-20 are wet, but clear [with the exception of the bridges]. Bridges continue to have some ice and snow mainly on the passing lanes. TxDOT crews continue to work on the bridges.
The reopening of westbound IH-10 at Fort Stockton and IH-20 at Pecos has caused heavy traffic flow.
On IH-10 westbound, traffic is backed up for about three miles at the IH-10/IH-20 merge, moving slowly as it merges with IH-20 traffic at the IH-10-20 split.
On IH-20 westbound, traffic is backed up for about 9 miles and is moving slowly as it merges with IH-10 traffic at the IH-10/20 split.

The Texas Department of Transportation is reporting snowpack on roadways in:
Martin County, especially north of Stanton
Andrews County from north of Odessa toward Lubbock
Winkler County around Kermit
Ward and Reeves counties from about 4 miles west of Monahans on Interstate 20. Six inches of snow reported at Balmorhea. Heavy snowfall at the IH-10/IH-20 split-merge.
INTERSTATE 10 remains closed. Traffic being stopped at Fort Stockton on Interstate 10 and at Pecos on Interstate 20.
El Paso TxDOT attempting to clear Interstate 10, starting with eastbound lanes. Will advise when roadway is opened.
TxDOT crews plowing snow west of Balmorhea on Interstate 10 and west of Pecos, removing snow and slush from roadway. Treating bridges and overpasses.

El Paso TxDOT working to re-open eastbound traffic first on Interstate 10 to the IH-10/IH-20 split-merge. Eastbound lanes to be re-opened first, then westbound lanes, according to Emergency Operations Center in El Paso.

The Texas Department of Transportation in Andrews reports that all roads in ANDREWS COUNTY are snow covered, with slush/ice underneath the snowpack. TxDOT crews are blading snow.
