Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, simple introduction usually to a story being told in litrature. Four simple and easily comprehended words.
Consider the message these four little words say to us:
ONCE; Only one time, never another.
UPON: Means completely absorbed within the moment.
A: Singular, not another, only one.
TIME: That elusive vapor that eludes us all in the end.
Once upon a time, how completely and significant the phrase. The event, happening, life itself displayed once upon a time.
I never really took the effort to look deeper within this often used metaphor. Now that I have, I am amazed at the message.
Everything and everyone we do, and come in contact with are living once upon a time.
Never let us forget that our being is temporary, our futule attempts to stay young physically are fantasies.
Only our eternal apiritual soul will go on forever in the presence of God our creator, where time as we know it does not exist, it is replaced by forever. Believe it, receive it. Bob Lester
