First slip of sneaking winter slipped into our area this morning. The wind picked up, and the temperature is a little cooler. What a morning, the leaves changing and falling from the trees, the dove all huddled in my back yard trying to snuggle and gossip. God's awesome presence abounding everywhere. The seasons themselves in place as they should be. Each one for a purpose as each life also is for a purpose.
Awesome awakening: Went to sleep last night and never thought about awakening, it was too far ahead of schedule, or was it? Isn't it incredible how most of us live our lives? I mean we take this for granted, we take that for granted, and sometimes we just take and never give back. How many folks went to sleep last night and woke up, not in this world, but in his presence? It happens every moment in this world, here one second, and gone the next, yet we live as if there is another tomorrow.
Folks it is time we all had an amazing awakening. We are not going to be here forever (thank God), we are not of this world but of his. God made the heavens and the earth, and he will take it all away. We must always give thanks to him from whom all blessings flow. The most amazing awakening of all is that he still loves me as unworthy as I am, he still loves you as unworthy as you are, none are worthy because of the sin and death passed on to all men through Adam.
Thank you God for my amazing awakening to your good morning filled with your good grace. Thank you God for loving me. Thank you God for giving your son Jesus on Calvary's Cross for us all. Believe it, receive it. Bob Lester
