TxDOT crews plowing snow west of Balmorhea on Interstate 10 and west of Pecos, removing snow and slush from roadway. Treating bridges and overpasses.

Interstate 10 COMPLETELY closed from "Y" [IH-10/IH-20 split-merge] at this moment. Road conditions can change momentarily.

El Paso TxDOT working to re-open eastbound traffic first on Interstate 10 to the IH-10/IH-20 split-merge. Eastbound lanes to be re-opened first, then westbound lanes, according to Emergency Operations Center in El Paso.

Traffic still being stopped at Fort Stockton on Interstate 10 and Pecos on Interstate 20.

Heavy snowpack on roadways in Pecos, Kermit, and Andrews this morning. Travel only as necessary advised.
