11:40 a.m. >> TxDOT Road Condition Update

The Texas Department of Transportation is reporting snowpack on roadways in:

Martin County, especially north of Stanton

Andrews County from north of Odessa toward Lubbock

Winkler County around Kermit

Ward and Reeves counties from about 4 miles west of Monahans on Interstate 20. Six inches of snow reported at Balmorhea. Heavy snowfall at the IH-10/IH-20 split-merge.

INTERSTATE 10 remains closed. Traffic being stopped at Fort Stockton on Interstate 10 and at Pecos on Interstate 20.

El Paso TxDOT attempting to clear Interstate 10, starting with eastbound lanes. Will advise when roadway is opened.

Lamesa reporting 2 inches of snowfall and limited visibility at 9:20 a.m. Traffic being advised of snowpack on State Highway 349 between Midland and Lamesa. Clear in Lubbock, some icing on bridges and overpasses in the Lubbock area.

Some wet roadways/icing on bridges and overpasses in Midland-Odessa area [caution for drivers on Loop 250]
